"Beverley, you need to evacuate the train right now!"

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Exciting morning today. Had to evacuate a train which we stopped in the catapult by an "empeche de launch" because of a panicked boy who didn't want to continue and was crying and very upset. I was the "Exit" at the Gare Principal so me and the Load (John) had to go and evacuate everyone from the train immediately. I was going to evacuate the people so I was the one who had to wear the harness because it's steep in the canon and I actually had to climb onto the carriages and in between on the tracks to open up the harnesses and help get all the 21 people out safe. Of course we had to reassure everyone that it's all going to be okay and explain what we were going to do. There were lots of Italians on board who didn't understand so I had to explain in Italian to them which worked so all good.
Everything was stopped because of this for about an hour and of course the other guests weren't too happy.
It was a bit hard but really fun to do though, my first evacuation. I must've looked cool with the big harness being like spider man climbing around. Pity I couldn't make a picture, hehe.
I did try and this is the result:

We got everyone out safely, back to the "tour" to pick up our ID's and then all the validations of the whole mountain had to be done again just as in the opening in the morning, so it did take some time before we actually got people riding the trains again.
